برعاية وحضور فخامة رئيس الجمهورية المالي الكولونيل مالك ديوا. وحضور رسمي وشعبي كرم الأمين العام للمنظمة العالمية لحقوق الإنسان في ال WSA السفير الأممي علي عقيل خليل المرجع الروحي في مالي (صانع الرؤساء) كما يسمونه الذي كان وراء اسقاط الرئيس السابق وتسلم الجيش للسلطة الانتقالية الإمام الشيخ د. محمود ديكو.

بداية كانت كلمة لعريف الاحتفال السيد احمد دونغا الذي رحب بالوفد الدولي وعلى رأسهم الأمين العام للمنظمة السفير الأممي علي عقيل خليل وتكلم عن الإمام محمود ديكو ودوره في التعايش والتقارب بين المذاهب ومساعدة الفقراء والمحتاجين والايتام ودور الإمام ديكو بإسقاط الرئيس السابق بسب دوره في الفساد ونهب المال العام ودعمه للجيش لتولي السلطة الحالية.

ووضع فيلم وثائقي عن الإمام كما وضع فيلم عن أعمال المنظمة وكلمة لرئيس المنظمة السفير دافييد غالوب يتحدث عن تاريخ تأسيس المنظمة واهدافها ودورها على مستوى العالم شاكرا الأمين العام للمنظمة ووزير الشؤون الدولية في المنظمة السفير الأممي علي عقيل خليل على النشاط المهم الذي يقوم به على مستوى العالم.
وفي كلمة للأمين العام للمنظمة السفير الأممي علي عقيل خليل عن سبب اختيار الشيخ د. محمود ديكو لهذا المنصب والذي رشحه احد مستشارين المنظمة البرفسور يحي لغيري رئيس الاتحاد الجمعيات والمنظمات والمجالس الإسلامية في ساحل العاج ورئيس المركز الإسلامي الافريقي العربي الشيخ امين صايغ لهذا المنصب وقد اختارته المنظمة العالمية لحقوق الإنسان في ال WSA برجل العام 2020 بسبب دوره في إطلاق عدد من المخطوفين الأجانب ولا سيما الرهينة الفرنسية ماري والتي أصبح اسمها (مريم) والتي رفضت مصافحة الرئيس الفرنسي ايمانويل ماكرون بسبب اعتناقها الدين الإسلامي ،وكذلك بسسب دوره في خدمة الانسان والانسانية وحوار الاديان ومساعدة الفقراء والمحتاجين والايتام.
وقد قررت المنظمة بمنحه أعلى وسام في المنظمة وهي (وسام السلام العالمي) التي أعطيت سابقا لعدد من الرؤساء والشخصيات العربية والعالمية.

وبعدها كانت كلمة لرئيس المجلس التنفيذي الاتحاد الجمعيات والمنظمات والمجالس الإسلامية ساحل العاج البرفسور يحي لغيري الذي تحدث عن سباب اختيار الإمام صاحب الأيادي البيضاء والرجل الصالح الذي يدعو للحوار والمحبة وتلاقي الاديان ومكافحة العنصرية ومحاربة الفساد في مالي.

وكانت كلمة لرئيس المركز الإسلامي الافريقي العربي الشيخ امين الصايغ الذي تكلم باسم جامعة الحضارة الاسلامية معلنا بمنح الإمام الشيخ محمود ديكو شهادة الدكتورة الفخرية بالفقه الإسلامي والتقارب بين الاديان بسبب عمله الاصلاحي والتعايش السلمي.

وبعدها قام الأمين العام للمنظمة السفير علي خليل بتعليق الوسام على صدر الإمام الشيخ محمود ديكو والبسه ميدالية السلام وسلمه درع السلام العالمي وعليها صورته ثم سلمه الأمين العام لجامعة الحضارة الاسلامية رئيس المركز الإسلامي الافريقي العربي الشيخ امين الصايغ شهادة الدكتورة الفخرية بالفقه الإسلامي والتقارب بين المذاهب مع وسام الجامعة. وقدم له السفير علي خليل كذلك هدية عبارة عن عصا من حجر اليسر الأصلي…

وكانت كلمة لسماحة الإمام الشيخ د. محمود ديكو الذي توجه بعمق الشكر والتقدير والاحترام للأمين العام للمنظمة العالمية لحقوق الإنسان السفير الأممي علي عقيل خليل على هذا التكريم الدولي باختياره شخصية العام 2020 وهو يعتبر نفسه بأنه لا يستحقها لأن ما زال هناك فقراء وجائعين ومشردين في أفريقيا وهناك مرضى لا يستطيعون ان يتعالجوا بسب الفقر ويوجد أطفال دون مدارس علينا أن نعمل من أجل خدمة الناس وانقاذ البشرية من المرض والفقر ونتحاور بدل القتال ونبذ العنف والكراهية والعنصرية والعمل لخدمة الإنسان بعيدا عن الغرائزية الدينية، عندما نحقق كل هذا نستحق هذا الوسام .
واهدي هذا الوسام الدولي إلى الشعب المالي العظيم الذي ضحي وما زال يضحي من أجل وطنه هذا الشعب المستضعف الفقير والعظيم.

Then came a speech by the President of the Executive Council of the Union of Islamic Associations, Organizations and Councils of Ivory Coast, Professor Yahya Laghiri, who spoke about the reason for choosing the Imam with White Hands and the righteous man who calls for dialogue, love and the convergence of religions.

A speech by the head of the African Arab Islamic Center, Sheikh Amin Al-Sayegh, who spoke on behalf of the University of Islamic Civilization, announced that Imam Sheikh Mahmoud Deko would be awarded an honorary doctorate degree in Islamic jurisprudence and interfaith rapprochement because of his reform work and peaceful coexistence.

Then the Secretary-General of the Organization, Ambassador Ali Khalil, hung the medal on the chest of Imam Sheikh Mahmoud Deko and he wore the Medal of Peace and handed him the Shield of World Peace with his picture on it, then the Secretary General of the University of Islamic Civilization, President of the African Arab Islamic Center, Sheikh Amin Al-Sayegh, gave him the honorary doctorate certificate of Islamic jurisprudence and the convergence of sects with the medal the University.

The word was for His Eminence Imam Sheikh d. Mahmoud Deco, who deeply thanked the Secretary-General of the World Organization for Human Rights, the UN Ambassador Ali Akil Khalil, for this international honor by choosing him as the person of the year 2020, and he considers himself that he does not deserve it because there are still poor, hungry and homeless people in Africa and there are patients who cannot be treated due to poverty There are children without schools. We must work for the sake of serving the people and save humanity from disease and poverty, dialogue instead of fighting, reject violence, hatred and racism, and work to serve the human being away from religious instincts. When we achieve all this we deserve this medal.
And dedicate this international medal to the great Malian people who sacrificed and are still sacrificing for their homeland, this vulnerable, poor, and great people.
