الجمهورية الأسلامية في إيران توضح لم نقصف مستشفى في جنوب إسرائيل وتقول:

تزعم وسائل الإعلام العبرية أن أحد الصواريخ الإيرانية أصاب مستشفى سوروكا في بئر السبع؛ لكن الواقع هو شيء آخر:

كان الهدف الرئيسي للهجوم هو المقر الكبير لقيادة واستخبارات جيش الدفاع الإسرائيلي (IDF C4I) ومعسكر استخبارات الجيش في الحديقة التكنولوجية “غاف يام”، التي تقع بجوار المستشفى.

وتستضيف هذه المراكز آلاف القوات العسكرية وأنظمة القيادة الرقمية والعمليات السيبرانية وأنظمة C4ISR للجيش الإسرائيلي.

وكان المستشفى معرضاً فقط لموجة الانفجار ولم يتعرض لأضرار جسيمة، لكن البنية التحتية العسكرية كانت هدفاً دقيقاً ومباشراً.

ويعتبر هذا الادعاء الكاذب جزءا من الحرب النفسية لتطهير صورة الجيش وإخفاء الأضرار التي لحقت بالبنية الاستخباراتية له.
